I had a wonderful three-night stay at Shunde Palm Resort. The tranquility of being out of town amid a palm plantation was lovely, and I appreciated how close it was to restaurants. While the resort is peaceful, the owners made my trip special by arranging a private tour to the islands and the sea Gypsies village, which felt just right without the crowd. The individual bungalows were super clean and recently renovated, equipped with AC and great fans. The breakfast included was a nice touch, making my mornings even better.
